FileBase have a custom-designed Digital Centre. This allows clients to view their records, edit their contents, order them and produce reports to show account activity.

Bar-coding and scanning of all items allows us to trace records from collection, during transit, into the FileBase holding area and then onto the shelf.

• Each box, file or individual item is given a unique barcode
• Each barcode consists of a unique client number and serial number which conforms to the customer’s own identification system
• The barcode is scanned and attached to the box, file, tape etc…
• All barcode information is automatically transferred to our computer system which then assigns a bar-coded location within a pre-allocated area
• Constant computerised monitoring can provide instantaneous reports of current or historical records relating to stored boxes
