FileBase is in a discreet, rural location near Morpeth, Northumberland yet with easy access to the A1.

The site
FileBase operate from an unmarked and anonymous location. We have no livery on our vans and no signage on our buildings. The site includes:
- Seven modern, purpose-built warehouses
- Office administration block
- Large forecourt and vehicle loading area
- Dedicated shredding unit with shredding machine, lockable holding area and storage racking for paper bails awaiting recycling.
- Archivist’s office with dedicated space for logging and indexing of files
- Scanning bureau where preparation and scanning takes place.
- Client viewing room where clients can view and audit their boxes in a secure, private area. This has wifi access.
All records are stored in buildings specifically designed to meet or exceed existing industry standards. Facilities include:
- Dedicated file, box, tape and tube storage units
- Controlled humidity of 50% +/- 5%
- Controlled temperature of 200 +/- 20 Centigrade
- Automatic smoke and fire detection systems
- Climate controlled system equipped with filters to remove harmful particles from the atmosphere
