Shredding & Destruction

How shall we contact you?

More information means more bits of paper. And more bits of paper means more decisions. How long to keep them? How to get rid of them? Will it be safe? What about the environment? And what on earth are WEEE guidelines?

Benefits of using FileBase:

  • Safe and secure destruction of information
  • Compliance with environmental legislation (and, yes, we understand WEEE guidelines)
  • Automatic notification when records have reached critical ‘shelf life’ dates, and can be legally destroyed
  • Excellent sustainability and recycling policy – all paper ends up back in the system in the local NHS.
  • A range of different products from Eco-boxes to lockable consoles.
  • Transparent pricing so no hidden surprises

  • FileBase is fully up to speed on these guidelines and will dispose of hard drives, computer monitors and other sensitive equipment accordingly

Recycling

  • All paper and card destroyed by FileBase is recycled into paper, office products and materials for the NHS.
  • We work with Fourstones paper mill, also in Northumberland, in order to support the local community and reduce the impact on the environment
