Why is it important that I use a FileBase archive box instead of an ordinary archive box?

FileBase storage boxes are specially designed for use within a Records Management centre. The triple walled flat bottomed construction, makes them exceptionally strong, resilient and long lasting. Combine this quality archive box with the controlled environment in our facilities and you have the optimum storage conditions for your files and records.

How do I get my files delivered or collected?

For a file or box request made by 4.00pm on any working day, FileBase will deliver the next working day. Requests must be made via FileTrace before 4:00pm for a next day delivery.

How quickly can my files be delivered?

We fully understand the importance of convenience to our clients. For this reason FileBase offer a chargeable 1 hour, 2 hour, 4 hour and 6 hour delivery service to meet any urgent needs.

When you archive my files how do I know what files you have and what to ask for when requesting them?

Once your files have been archived they are viewable on FileTrace where you can edit them, organise them and request them. For example you may have requested your files to be archived using the following fields: Name, Surname and D.O.B.

What do you do with all the shredded paper?

FileBase are committed to recycling and the environment. We have partnerships with both paper and plastics recycling companies. Both FileBase and our recycling partners are registered with the Environment Agency providing a fully auditable process.

Shredded paper is processed at a local paper mill for the production of recycled paper. There is an increasing need for the high grade of shredded waste that FileBase generate.

If I only need to keep my files for a certain amount of time, how do I let FileBase know that certain files are no longer required?

Are my files secured?

If you refer to the security link on the homepage there are extensive details of FileBase security procedures. Briefly, FileBase operate CCTV, onsite security, coded locks and alarm systems.  Also all FileBase staff are security screened to the highest level.
